DAVEY PRODUCTS  started in 1987, has been promoted with an objective to provide a comprehensive solution to any Filtration Problem.  The Unit was conceived by Mr. S  VENKATESH DAVEY, a Technocrat from the prestigious IIT, Madras with a decade of experience with TVS Group.
 
The beginning was to address the Microfiltration applications in Hatcheries through import of Cartridge filters such as  Wound, Spun and Pleated types.
 
With the basic enterprising instinct coupled with  Technical Competence, Analytical Ability and Commitment on Quality,  he could buildup a strong team of young engineering professionals and technicians and steer the unit towards building RO, Nano & Ultrafiltration Plants using Membranes and Manufacturing other related accessories such as UV Sterilizers, Ozonators , Oil Skimmers & Autocleaning Filtration systems. 
 
Realising the need to serve the customer both in terms of Quality and Economics, it was imperative to buildup an infrastructure to manufacture products in-house and use/distribute reliable overseas products.  Sources of suppliers for items such as Membranes, Cartridges and Bag Filters - were scrupulously chosen so as to meet the company’s aspirations “ to be the best”. 
 
Thanks to the teamwork - today DP is known for its reliability among its customers!. 
 
The unit has built numerous RO, Nano & UF plants to a wide range of customers in Water & Waste Water Industry. In addition to catering to the needs of local customers, the company spread its wings of exporting such  Plants & Accesories abroad to Customers in Asia & Africa. The applications  include recycling of textile effluents, desalination for process demands, drinking water segment, concentration of beverages etc
 
Being situated in the heart of Chennai, which is well connected to Air/Sea Ports,  operations overseas  had been relatively easier. to relate to the customer’s needs – both in India and Abroad.
 
With the Knowledge gained from  the interactions overseas with Research Scientists and Leading Manufacturers, currently, the unit is  engaged in developing  Ultrafiltration Fibres and Modules – soon to be introduced as one of the regular products of supply.
